If the people want a totally clean planet, shut down the plants, close the mines, turn off the lights, get out of your cars, turn off the cell phones , shut down the computers, turn off the heat and a/c, oh, I guess that would also mean no fires, let the trees grow. No medicine, no medical treatments, nothing that your lives have been build on to this point. I guess the population would drop rather quickly, plant health would flourish due to all the new fertilizer. Meat would become more abundant, because of fewer people to feed. Some would survive, some would not.

So if you think wind turbines are the answer, look how much coal takes to make just 1, ( to melt the steel) the oil it takes to mine the ore to get the copper for the wire, the coal to melt the copper for the wire, the oil it takes to keep moving parts lubricated,the coal and gas it takes to make the oil, ( it takes electricity to run the machines that make the fuel from the crude). Most of everything we use comes from electricity, most of which all began with coal. Know your facts. We can live on a perfectly clean planet. A lot of you will have to go. If you want to give up all the luxuries of your life you can live great. Everything you depend on comes from some form of fossil fuel.
